Who we are
Bedrock AI is an AI consultancy based in the United Kingdom. We are responsible for the personal data collected through bedrockai.xyz, and through the emails and calls you have with us. For any question about this policy or your data, email hello@bedrockai.xyz.
What we collect
- When you email us or use the contact form, we receive your name, email address and anything you include in the message.
- When you book a call, our booking provider Calendly collects your name, email address, the time you choose and any answers you give on the booking form.
- During a call or assessment, we keep notes about your business, which may include details about you and your team.
- When you browse this site, Vercel Web Analytics records page views, referring sites, and your browser, device type and country. It does not use cookies and does not identify you.
- If you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics records how you use the site, such as the pages you visit, how long you stay, the booking links you click, your approximate location and your device. It uses cookies and a pseudonymous identifier, never your name or email.
- Our hosting provider, Vercel, keeps short-term server logs, including IP addresses, to keep the site secure and working.
Cookies
The only cookies this website sets are Google Analytics cookies (named _ga and _ga_ followed by an ID), and only after you click Accept on the cookie banner. They last up to two years. If you click Reject, no analytics cookies are set.
You can change your choice at any time using the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page. Your choice itself is saved in your browser's local storage, not in a cookie. Calendly may set its own cookies when you open its booking page, and its cookie policy applies there.
Why we use your data
We use your data to reply to you, run the calls you book, deliver work you ask us for, and understand how the site is used so we can improve it. Our lawful bases under UK GDPR are our legitimate interests and, where you hire us, taking steps to enter into and carry out a contract with you. For Google Analytics, the lawful basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
We do not sell your data, and we do not use it to make automated decisions about you.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of providers that process data on our behalf.
- Vercel, for website hosting and analytics
- Calendly, for booking calls
- Web3Forms, for delivering contact form messages to our inbox
- Google, for email and for Google Analytics if you accept cookies
Some of these providers are based in the United States. Where data leaves the UK, it is protected by UK-approved safeguards such as the UK-US data bridge or international data transfer agreements.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry emails and call notes for up to 24 months after our last contact, unless you become a client. Client records are kept for as long as the law requires, which is typically six years for financial records. Vercel Web Analytics data is only held in aggregate, and Google Analytics keeps event data for no longer than 14 months.
Your rights
You can ask to see the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or receive a copy to take elsewhere. Email hello@bedrockai.xyz and we will respond within one month.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
